Kedua: Dalam usahanya untuk mencapaikan keperluan keperluan manusia yang hakiki itu Islam sentiasa berusaha memelihara dasar perimbangan yang mutlak di antara keperluan keperluan badannya dengan keperluan akal dan rohnya. Islam tidak membenarkan keperluan keperluan itu menindas satu sama lain. Dengan erti Islam tidak menindaskan keinginan keinginan nafsu demi untuk mempertinggikan rohaniah manusia, begitu juga Islam tidak membenarkan seseorang itu menyahuti panggilan keinginan nafsu hingga sampai kepada batas yang menurunkan manusia ke darjah kebuasan binatang, malah Islam cuba menyatukan kedua-dua tuntutan badan dan roh itu dalam satu peraturan yang padu dan utuh. United Nations, New York, Sept 24, IRNA -- The following is the full text of President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's speech delivered to the 65th annual meeting of United Nations General assembly in New York on Thursday. Mr. President, Excellencies, Ladies and Gentlemen, I am grateful to the Almighty God who granted me the opportunity to appear before this world assembly once again. I wish to begin by commemorating those who lost their lives in the horrible flood in Pakistan and express my heartfelt sympathy with the families who lost their loved ones as well as with the people and the government of Pakistan.
